Personality/Diagnostic Assessment
Dr. Martin has training in administering, scoring and interpreting personality/psychopathology measures, including the Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI) and Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI-2). These tests can provide invaluable information for diagnostic purposes as well as informing treatment planning.
Cognitive Assessment
Dr. Martin has extensive experience administering, scoring, and interpreting the Wechsler Adult Interview Scale (WAIS), a comprehensive measure of adult cognitive ability as well as other cognitive measures. Information from this assessment can inform treatment planning. Results may be used to assess the level of cognitive functioning in individuals with psychiatric illness or brain injury, as well as whether a referral for specialized testing from a Clinical Neuropsychologist is warranted.
