Meet Dr. Blake Martin
Dr. Blake Martin is a licensed clinical psychologist (TX#39616) with extensive experience helping individuals overcome mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, or a traumatic experience.
Dr. Martin is the founder of Embark Psychological Services. Dr. Martin earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he also completed an APA-accredited internship. Following graduation, Dr. Martin received specialized training at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System in treating traumatic stress and other mental health conditions through an APA-accredited postdoctoral fellowship.
Over the past decade, Dr. Martin has trained and worked at some of the top academic medical centers in the United States, including Harvard University (Cambridge, MA), The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (Dallas, TX), Tufts Medical Center (Boston, MA), and the Department of Veterans Affairs (San Antonio, TX).

In-office and telehealth options
We offer therapy both in person and via telehealth.
We offer in-person appointment slots for clients who prefer to be seen face-to-face.
Our office is located in central San Antonio, overlooking beautiful Breckenridge Park. We are close to Alamo Heights, Olmos Park, Monte Vista, Trinity University, and downtown San Antonio. Our office is easily accessible from HWY 281.
We also are proud to offer telehealth services to individuals located anywhere across the state of Texas.
We are also licensed to provide teletherapy to individuals located in 38 other states through PSYPACT. (Please scroll down to Additional Locations for more details).
Telehealth appointments allow you to be seen in a space you are most comfortable, without commuting or waiting in an office, at your own convenience. Studies have found patients benefit from video therapy sessions equally to in-person treatment.
